Lisa Bryn Rundle is a podcast producer and host. Currently, she produces podcasts for CBC Radio.Rundle hosted the 6th season of "Uncover" and co-created and co-produced the series "Tooth & Claw."Before radio, Rundle worked in magazines, including as senior editor for The Walrus. She co-edited the anthology Turbo Chicks, about young women and feminism.

Ian Hanomansing is a journalist who is currently the host of CBC Television's nightly newscast, The National.Hanomansing began broadcasting after graduating university, in Amherst, Nova Scotia. He worked at CKCW in Moncton, and at CHNS in Halifax. In 1986, he joined the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and worked for their bureaus in the Maritimes and Toronto, before moving to Vancouver.Hanomansing received his B.A. in political science and sociology, and graduated from Dalhousie Law School.

Justin Ling is an investigative journalist who has worked across the country, focusing on stories and issues undercovered or misunderstood. For the past year, he has been covering the investigation into Bruce McArthur. His forthcoming book on the case will be published by McClelland & Stewart in early 2020.​

Michelle Shephard is an independent investigative reporter, author, and filmmakerPreviously, Shephard guest-hosted "The Current" on CBC, and before that she was a reporter with the Toronto Star. Her film credits include co-directing the film "Guantanamo's Child," which premiered in 2015 and was based on her book about Omar Khadr, producing the documentary "Prisoners of the Absurd," which premiered in 2014, and associate producing the documentary "Under Fire: Journalists in Combat," which premiered in 2011.Shephard was raised in Thornhill, Ontario. She received her B.A. in Political Science and English from the University of Toronto, and her M.A. in Journalism from Ryerson University.

Zander Sherman is an author and freelance journalist. His work focuses on politics, crime, mental health, education, and memoir.Sherman began his journalism career at a local magazine after high school. He left the magazine to author his book, and now works as a freelance journalist. His work has appeared in Vanity Fair and Esquire. He also composes lyrics for the band Larch. His first book, "The Curiosity of School: Education and the Dark Side of Enlightenment," was published in 2012.Sherman was raised in Muskoka. He graduated from Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School.

Ashley Hamer is a writer, podcaster, and the managing editor of Descript. She previously hosted the award-winning Curiosity Daily podcast from Discovery and her own personal show, Taboo Science. She’s also a former scriptwriter for the science YouTube channel SciShow. As a science communicator, Ashley has a passion for getting others excited about everything from physics and astronomy to psychology and exercise science to all the weird things plants can do. She has also served as a board member of Women Thinking Inc., a nonprofit devoted to promoting science to women and families. Ashley hails from the redwoods of Northern California and is also a professional saxophonist, a Boston-qualified marathon runner, and a cat person.

Daemon Fairless is a writer and journalist with a master's degree in neuroscience, who has worked as a producer on CBC Radio's flagship current affairs show As It Happens, and as a print journalist for the science journal Nature. He is the author of Mad Blood Stirring and focuses his work on the nature of violent men.
